Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

By using this website you accept these terms. The most important one: everything published here is general information, not legal advice for your specific purchase.

No attorney–client relationship is created by browsing this site, reading a guide, submitting the contact form or messaging us on WhatsApp. That relationship begins only when we have agreed the scope of work in writing and any applicable conflict check and engagement requirements are satisfied.

1. Who operates this website

milelemexico.com is operated by Correa Wilson & Company, S.A.S. de C.V., a Mexican law firm. "Milele" is a brand under which the firm provides buyer-side legal and concierge services to foreign purchasers of property in Mexico.

2. Informational purpose only

Our guides, service pages and FAQs describe Mexican law and practice in general terms, as at the date of publication. Law and practice change, and every property transaction has facts that change the answer. Nothing on this site is a legal opinion, a guarantee of outcome, or a substitute for advice on your specific transaction.

Do not act — or refrain from acting — on the basis of anything you read here without first obtaining advice on your own circumstances.

3. Free consultation

The free initial consultation is an introductory conversation to understand your goals and describe how the legal process works. It does not constitute a legal opinion or a review of your documents, and it does not create an attorney–client relationship.

4. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we make no warranty that it is free of errors or interruptions, or that any figure, tax rate, fee range or timeline stated here applies to your case. Cost figures shown in guides are illustrative estimates only.

5. Intellectual property

The text, guides, design, logos and images on this site are owned by Correa Wilson & Company, S.A.S. de C.V. or used under licence. You may read, print and share our guides for your own non-commercial use, with attribution. You may not republish, resell or adapt them commercially without our written permission.

6. Third-party links

Where we link to banks, authorities, registries or other third parties, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

7. The U.S. Embassy attorney list

Our reference to the firm's inclusion on the U.S. Embassy in Mexico's list of local attorneys is a statement of fact about a public directory. That list is a public resource for U.S. citizens; inclusion on it is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification or guarantee by the U.S. government of any attorney or firm.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Mexican law, Correa Wilson & Company, S.A.S. de C.V. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website's general content. This limitation does not apply to the professional services we provide under a signed engagement, which are governed by that engagement and by the professional liability rules applicable to Mexican attorneys.

9. Communications and confidentiality

Information you send us before an engagement exists is treated confidentially in accordance with our Privacy Notice, but it may not be protected by attorney–client privilege and may not prevent us from acting for another party. Please do not send sensitive documents until we confirm in writing that we can receive them.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute relating to this website shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the one that applies.
